QS World University Rankings (QS WUR)

For the second year in a row, the ranking evaluates sustainability comprehensively from the perspective of the three main pillars of ESG (Environmental/Social/Governance) and the implementation of the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Each of the main pillars forms a separately evaluated category, aggregated into the final score.

This year, a total of 1,403 institutions (493 European and 11 Czech) were evaluated, with only those eligible for ranking in the QS World University Rankings being included.

In this ranking, CZU's overall score was:

323rd out of 1,403 participating institutions

148th out of 493 European institutions.

3rd out of 11 Czech institutions.

We did best in the Environmental category, where we defended 1st place in the Czech Republic (we are 183rd globally), while we scored lowest in the Social category, where we were 4th in the Czech Republic and 610th globally (even here, however, we made slight progress compared to last year's result, especially in the Health & Wellbeing indicator).
