Dear all, in the past rounds of the food collection that CZU participated in, we donated an incredible amount of food aid. These were impressive numbers that placed us at the top of the collection among participating institutions. We sincerely thank you for that and are rightfully proud of you. Currently, the fourth food collection is taking place at ČZU. Let's make Advent and Christmas better for people in need, abandoned seniors, families in crisis, single parents, and the homeless. Even small help counts.
The food collection is an act of solidarity through which everyone can help in the simplest way – by donating non-perishable food and hygiene products.
What to contribute:

FreeShop CZU
Another charitable activity that CZU joins for Giving Tuesday is a SWAP of unnecessary clothes and items, organized by FreeShop CZU. You can bring clothes or small items that you no longer use and at the same time take anything that makes you happy completely free of charge. Give things a second life and treat yourself, for example, to a new piece for your wardrobe.
When: December 2-3, 2025, as part of the Christmas Workshops at CZU

Bone Marrow Donor Recruitment
The third charitable activity as part of the Christmas Workshops at CZU is recruitment for the Czech National Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Come on Wednesday, December 3, from 10 AM to 3 PM in the CZU Aula. Registration is free, painless, takes only a moment, and can be completed by any healthy man or woman aged 18-35. You just need to fill out a questionnaire and swab your mouth. Bone marrow collection only takes place if a patient is found for whom you are the ideal donor. The chance of such a match is 1%.
Become a hero in the story of a seriously ill person. Give hope.
