The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) is once again taking part in the European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW), a global festival of events promoting sustainable development. A diverse programme has been prepared for students, employees, and the public.

3 October 2026 | Dean's Run – “You Cannot Run Away from the Dean 2026” (Lesnická 15) | Students, Employees and the Public
- The 5th Annual Forest Run, organized by the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences (FLD CZU) in cooperation with CZU Forests will take place in the forests of he CZU Forest Enterprise in Jevany.
- The event combines physical activity, time spent in nature, and social interaction among students, employees, and the public in the setting of university forests.
- Participants can choose between two race distances: 7.5 km and 15.2 km. Children's races will also be available.
- Students of all secondary schools and universities, children, and employees of FLD CZU and CZU Forests can participate free of charge.
- Refreshments will be provided for participants at the start and finish area.

6 October 2026 | 9:00-9:50 AM | Webinar “Working Smarter Between Work and Life: Simple Tips for Better Balance” | Students, Employees and the Public
- Online webinar organized in cooperation with HEDEPY.

- The webinar will include a Q&A session and discussion on mental health and therapy-related topics. Czech language only.
7 October 2026 | 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | Sustainable Brunch | Students, Employees and the Public
- The event will take place in the University Canteen building in front of the CZU Shop.
- Fairtrade refreshments including a chocolate fountain, exotic fruits, chocolates, traditional cakes, coffee, and tea.
- Tasting of local food products Um! from the CZU Food Pavilion.
- ProVeg tasting of plant-based alternatives to popular meals.
- Presentation of the campaign "Every Plate Counts", focused on preventing food waste in the CZU Canteen.
8 October 2026 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM | Excursion to the Tropical Greenhouses of the FTZ Botanical Garden | Students, Employees and the Public
- The event will take place in the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ), CZU Prague-Suchdol.
