SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY:
Commuting, parking, but also CZU's own transport (employees for business trips or students for study trips and internships) or transport of services and materials. These are all topics for sustainable mobility that you can work on as a part of the CZU Campus Sustainability Challenge.
What to think about and what to solve:
- How does the transport associated with the CZU campus affect the Prague-Suchdol district and the CZU campus itself?
- What modes of transport do we use and what are their pros and cons?
- What is the current state and future of the infrastructure for individual modes of transport regarding the upcoming projects (tram line to Suchdol, completion of the northern part of the Prague Ring Road, new connection of the banks of the Vltava River between Podbaba and Bohnice)?
- What effects and external costs arise from the possible establishment, operation and maintenance of facilities to support individual car transport (ICT)?
- What non-traditional modes of transport would be appropriate in regards with the location of the CZU campus?
- What are the possibilities of shared transport systems and traffic information applications supported by the university with links to city districts and commercial systems?
- How to motivate people towards new solutions and is regulation and restriction the right way (alternatively what forms to choose)?
