Join the CZU Campus Sustainability Challenge 2020 competition and get the opportunity to implement your project.
Do you have an idea how to make the CZU campus more sustainable and environmentally friendly? Do you have an idea how to spread responsible behaviour among employees and students? CZU strives for reducing the negative impact on the environment and sustainable development of its campus. For the third time in a row, even students are involved in these activities. The CZU management announces a competition for the best student projects that will help CZU to become a more responsible and sustainable university. The winning teams will receive funding to implement their ideas and a financial scholarship.
What should the project look like?
Your project should lead to a more sustainable campus or to motivate students and employees to be more responsible towards the environment and each other. You can focus on the environmental, social and economic fields. It is up to you whether, for example, you will reduce the environmental impact of the university, improve the design of the campus, or link the university to local businesses. There are plenty of options.
How will the projects be evaluated?
The main selection criteria for the winning projects are:
- a beneficial effect for a better campus life
- the probability of a successful implementation
- sustainability of the project in the coming years
- the effectiveness of the funds spent
Successful teams will be invited to personally present their project proposals. The expert committee will select the winning projects based on the presentation and the rules of the competition.
Who can apply and how?
Project proposals can be submitted by teams or individuals from among CZU students of all types and forms of study.
